Tonight we fed the missionaries and had a great time visiting with them. The kids really look up to the missionaries and love it when we get to have them over. They love to listen to their stories and getting to know them. They especially love it when they have accents and these missionaries are speak Spanish too and one of them has a Spanish accent that the kids liked. I was genuinely pleased with my kids tonight, normally they try showing off in silly ways to get the missionaries attention but they didn't do any of that at all tonight. In fact just thinking about it I'm really surprised they didn't, I guess my kids are maturing more than I thought. :)
A couple times ago when we fed the missionaries, Levi tooted during the prayer and of course I was mortified but since I was the only girl (besides Skylar who was only 2) I obviously was the only one that was mortified. One of the missionaries started to chuckle during the prayer then as soon as it ended every male in the room started laughing, which made Levi (who was a little nervous at the reaction he'd get) bust up laughing himself. That also made him for a very long time decide it was ok to pass gas at the dinner table. Boys!!!
This made me think about the times that we fed the missionaries when you girls were growing up.
