Pretty Skylar

I just had to share this. I was at Walmart and Skylar wanted this wagon. So, I got her the wagon and she wanted to pull it around in the store. Then we bought some flowers which she pulled around in the wagon all around the store while we shopped. Then we got home and she started pulling it around the yard and of course I had to take some pictures. I love them! She's such a cute, beautiful girl!

You'll Poke Your Eye Out

Yesterday the boys were playing ball and Fisher tried to grab the ball from Kadin and accidentally shoved his finger into Kadin's eye. When I got home from work he was in a lot of pain and wouldn't even let me look at it. I went to Zumba and came home to him laying on the couch still in pain. I convinced him to let me put some drops in it, I did and it stung a little but felt a little better after and he let me look at it. I couldn't see any welts or scratches but I'm sure there are some. Then with much arguing I convinced him to let me put in some antibiotic eye ointment. I did that and gave him some ibuprofen and put a patch on it. He went to bed still in a lot of pain. This morning he woke up doing much better but still was hurting quite a bit. So I redid the patch and this is how he went to school, which he wasn't thrilled about, he's just positive someone will make fun of him. Unfortunately he's probably right!!! Hopefully he comes home feeling a lot better and we don't have to take him to the doctor. I just may have to.

Temple Square Lights

Saturday night we went to Temple Square in Salt Lake and saw all the lights.
Some of my kids have never been to see this.
They all thought it was awesome!!!
I love seeing the beautiful Salt Lake LDS Temple.

We went and saw the Christus. It was really busy there so on the way home I talked to the kids about the nail marks on Christ's hands, wrists and feet. They got really quiet for quite a while, pondering what Christ went through for them.

Then we were walking back to our underground parking and entered in through the Deseret Book store, we had to check out their new Gingerbread man, candy machine. That was pretty cool, we even got a free gingerbread man cookie, now I just wish I could find where they're sold.

iPod running music

Does anyone have any suggestion for running music I can download onto my iPod? I'm seriously going to need some major motivation!! I've got "300 Violin Orchestra" by Jorge Quintero but need more than that!

Nervous

Tomorrow my kids and I are running a 5k. I'm so nervous because I don't run and we are definitely not prepared but my kids wanted to do it and Kylee talked me into it too so we're doing it!! Hopefully my kids will be glad they did and I don't hear a lot of "I'm tired" or "I don't want to do this now" because we are going to do it and finish! Who knows maybe they'll really like running, unlike their mother! Pray that I don't die!

OUCH!... Marble?

Mia, is now scared of Skylar. Skylar who is only 2 just tried to grab (and remove) her eye as she said (giggling) "look a marble". So sad but also funny. Poor Mia.

Locked out!

I probably should make this a post that will happen often, because it does happen often! Today we had stake conference, so instead of driving across town to go to church we decided to walk to the church that's 50 yards from our house. Well guess what I did? I locked the door assuming Kerby had the key, he did not have the key, so we were locked out!!! After church we were able to get in trying many different ways, and no I won't tell you how we did it!
Now it's time to make some mini pumpkin pies mmmmmmmmm before I have to bring Audrey her awesome Demarle at Home pan back, LOVE those pans/molds!!! If you don't own any, you should (Contact Lenae Morrill lanaeathome@gmail.com).
