Happy Independence Day Everyone!!!

Today we got up at 5 a.m. and went fishing at Utah Lake. Why does the best fishing usually have to be right when the sun comes up? ;) It was such a fun day and we caught tons of fish. At least 3 or 4 each, more for some. Everyone had a great time.

When we got there we saw this big spider. I've never seen one like this before...anyone know what it is? It looks like it has little eggs all over it, or balls. Very different.

 I got a bite first but missed it. Then Levi got a bite and got in the first cat fish of the day.

 He's so happy he caught the first one.

 In fact I didn't get a picture of that fish at all and this is Fisher's first catch of the day, a bullhead cat fish.

 This is MY first catch. Wahoo!

 And....drum roll please. The biggest fish of the day goes too......mom! It was so big I had to brace the pole under my arm so I wouldn't drop the pole.

 7 lbs 10 oz.

 

 Man it's heavy!

 Fun times! Can I put it down now? My arms are tired.

 Fisher caught a white bass.

 I love this, it's flopping out of his hand.

 Very fun fishing trip. I really should go with them more often.
