Walking on water

Today I decided I wanted to walk on water! I think I did a pretty good job. It was a lot of fun too!

Then I thought I would see if my dog Mia could do it too. She could, and she really liked it!

Can you see the bottom of the lake? I'm not sinking!
Ok I know you're just dying to hear how I did it. Well faith of course!

No, it's ice crazy people! Ok I'm sure that most of you already knew that but it kinda looks like I'm walking on water huh? Yesterday it was really clear and I'd never been on a frozen lake that was that clear, you could literally see the bottom of the lake, much better than in the picture above. Unfortunately when I went back for pictures it wasn't so clear anymore. Oh well, it was still fun, the best part was watching Mia run around slipping everywhere. Here's a little video but she didn't slip much while I was recording. Oh and yes, that is my "dog" voice. She was loving running all over the ice.

Oh no, I'm going to fall through! Nah, it's totally safe, 4 inches thick!
Kerby and Levi decided they might as well ice fish while I was pretending to walk on water! He got a bite but nothing else in the short time we were there. He did catch a bunch at Utah Lake this morning though.
