Skylar's appt.

I decided to document Skylar's tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy so everyone can see what's it's like for a 2 year old to have this done. I had mine out when I was 4 and only remember lying at home one of the days and my mom trying to get me to eat ice cream or soup, I remember everything even ice cream tasted disgusting! Anywho I think maybe this might be helpful for people to read.

You can't get me!
So yesterday Skylar had her appointment with the Ear, Nose and Throat Dr. We saw the P.A. James Crawley and then Dr. Ense. That's when we found out she'd need her adenoids removed too. Here are a couple pics I got, the rest of the time I was too busy keeping her and 2 of my boys (who were home with strep) quiet and calm. The P.A. was very good with Skylar, he talked to her at her level and very easily got her to cooperate with him. Dr. Ense on the other hand didn't seem as personable and didn't try to gain her trust like the P.A. did. He still did a good job though and seems to be a nice man. He'll be the one performing the surgery so I'm glad I got to meet him too. I think he'll do a great job! The surgery is scheduled for December 20th at Mountain View Hospital which I wasn't super excited about, I prefer Utah Valley. I'm sure they'll do great.

Why am I sitting here, what are you going to do to me?
This is where I want to sit!

Here is the link to the original post where we found out she had strep and scarlet fever.
Everything Kristi!: Poor Skylar!
